A black feather descending at night Stars shining at the blissful delight Of an angel, coming down the stairs, Counting a petal for each affair.
The fluttering of wings is heard Souls come and gather to stare The final judgment for our sins, To see the black luster of the black wings.
In the still of the night, the angel cries Holding high its sharp scythe Withered petals falling like snow Breaking the silence of a lamenting glow.
